Notes
- Whatever previous version of the codec should be uninstalled before installing the new codec
- If the codec Preferences are set to use the embedded JPEG epitome for fast viewing instead of using RAW processing, the width and height displayed will be that of the embedded preview prototype.
- Known issue: D1 support will be provided in a future update
- If you have the Ardfry CR2 codec installed, then you volition need the May 2008 build or later to avoid conflicts
- The 32 bit MSI and 64 scrap MSI files that are included in the installer are available for administrators who demand more than installations options than are bachelor in the default installer. On 64 bit platforms you should install both 32 chip and 64 bit codecs if you need to support 32 chip applications that utilise WIC. The Setup application above does installs both.
Registration
The registration code is used to unlock the trial version. When you purchase a license the registration information can be entered in the Preferences application in the NEF Codec by Ardfry Imaging program grouping. The registration code is printed on the receipt page when then transaction is completed and in the society confirmation email.
